Julie works extensively nationwide to provide healthcare professionals with intermediate and long-standing recruiting solutions in accordance with individual physicians, large group practices, academic medical centers, cancer centers, governmental and hospital clients. In conjunction with her broad range of recruit and client interactions, Julie possesses more than 25 years of management experience highlighted by relationship building, product and account management, and a broad range of successful professional placements. Julie recognizes the critical leadership skills necessary for organizational success, the importance of clinical and financial outcomes, and the need for cultural fit. Julie’s expertise is uniquely sustained by her attention to detail, her work ethic, her integrity, and her determination to provide candidates and clients with the tools and experience to succeed.Julie is the CEO of Cancer CarePoint, Inc., a nationally recognized firm dedicated to oncology-specific recruiting since 1994.
With more than 27 years of healthcare experience and 25 years in the oncology-specific recruiting industry, Julie has developed an expertise in the placement of physicians, allied health professionals, administrators, and nurses into institutional leadership, clinical and clinical faculty positions. After founding Cancer CarePoint in 1994 as a woman-owned operation, the firm grew through conduct of literally hundreds of assignments and searches each year for clients throughout the country. Julie’s commitment to managing all aspects of the search process through client defined needs, including candidate recruitment, interviewing and negotiations, has resulted in Cancer CarePoint achieving top retention rates among placed candidates. Knowledgeable about current trends in the oncology industry for hospitals and clinical staff alike, Julie delivers exceptionally qualified candidates. Additionally, in her role as Director, she effectively merges her extensive management and healthcare expertise to successfully identify and evaluate the skills and competence of the healthcare executive.
When she is not working, Julie enjoys hosting dinner parties and testing new food creations for her family and friends. After all, her motto is “if it doesn’t turn out we’ll order pizza!”
Julie is originally from Michigan and has also lived in San Francisco and loves to travel. She currently lives in Atlanta with her husband Ty and has two bonus teenage daughters, Taylor and Skylar.
LaQueshette Morris-Whitlock, Nursing, Medical Physics & Dosimetry Recruiter
LaQueshette “Q” Morris-Whitlock is Cancer CarePoint’s Nursing, Advanced Practice Providers, and Allied Health locum tenens recruiter. LaQueshette has been a proud member of the CCP team since 2005; she is a dedicated team member and always willing to lend a helping hand. LaQueshette is a graduate of Georgia State University where she earned a Bachelor in Managerial Science Degree. With over 10 years of customer service experience, LaQueshette brings a skill set filled with productive interaction and a true ability to uncover individual pursuits that can be matched to meet their specialized needs. LaQueshette is known for establishing lasting relationships with her recruits, lending a listening ear, and understanding her recruit needs.
When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family, traveling, and event planning; she is also a foodie and enjoys checking out old and new restaurants in and around the city.
Sarah Roe, Senior Marketing Coordinator, Allied Health & Nursing
Sarah Roe is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Marketing. After serving as a marketing director with a physical therapy firm in Florida, she joined the Cancer CarePoint team in 1997 tasked with the role of establishing the Medical Oncology Division. Since that time, she has assisted hundreds of clients nationwide with their recruitment needs as well as played an active role in the development of additional services lines including Allied Health and Nursing.
Her active management philosophy of servicing client relationships identifies issues in the client recruiting process before they become problems that threaten the viability of the client’s business and their potential recruits. More than 23 years since beginning her partnership with Cancer CarePoint, Sarah proudly continues to contribute to the firm’s reputation for delivering recruiting solutions of the highest quality and continuity in the Allied Health marketplace.
When she’s not working, Sarah enjoys hiking with her two dogs, biking, cooking healthy meals and traveling.
